We have installed a new innovative felting machine that will do wet felted yardage. The machine is designed to make fabric going anywhere from the prefelt stage all the way up to hard enough for rugs and horse blankets

 Time to drop off fiber from either your fiber flock, llama, alpaca, sheep, goat or rabbit or the fleeces you have picked up during sales.  Dogs and cats can even be processed. Custom dying is also available using the 40 colors of Jacquard dyes.   If the group you belong to would like to come out to the mill for the day for either a mill tour or workshop, please call to schedule.

The mill now offers custom hand spinning for batches too small (4 pounds or less) for machine spinning and custom dyeing.  We still do custom felting and dyeing and a limited amount of special order hand knitting from both roving and hand spun yarn.  We have a variety of fibers from local producers available for blending or get roving, batting, felted yardage and some hand spun yarn at the mill for all your felting, knitting and spinning needs.
