Sweater Shawl

This is a great project for handspun since the
number of stitches can be adjusted very easily
for the size of the yarn.  The sample project
was done in a very finely spun Shetland wool.

The yarn was spun at 16 wraps per inch.
Approximately 1 ½ pounds of natural
morrit Shetland sheep wool was spun from
wool shorn in the spring of 2006
from one of my own ewes..
The pattern can be adjusted to accommodate
a wide variety of yarn weights and spinning
styles.  The shrug also looks good on
many body types and sizes.

Pattern notes: If the shawl is worked in the following sequence, the fewest number of ends will need to be worked in.
1- Body, 2-one side seam, 3-same side sleeve.
Break yarn. Start new yarn. 4-Bottom edging, 4-second side seam, second sleeve. Break yarn and work in ends.
